TECHNIQUEWHAT IS SLM OR PBLF?

SLM or Selective Laser Melting consists of the iterative deposition of metal powder layers of approx. 60 microns and their subsequent melting by means of a laser. It is also called PBLF or Powder Bed Laser Fusion.

The sum of the sections generates a very dense part (greater than 99.5%) of the chosen metal and of high precision.

We use Selective Laser Melting (SLM) to manufacture metal parts with a density of 99.5%, with good finishes and exceptional mechanical strength.

We have 14 Renishaw machines, each one dedicated exclusively to one material. This allows us to increase productivity, better control the process and reduce manufacturing costs.
